I have been a photographer and geek for as long as I can remember. I was the guy that took the pictures for the high school newspaper and yearbook. It wasn't cool but I did get to meet lots of people and the high school had a SpeedGraphic camera. My father was a great photographer but never pursued it. To my advantage, he always had good equipment and he let me use it....sometimes. In grad school at Wake Forest I had access to a dark room where I got to experiment with film and paper. Unfortunately, in grad school you have no money! For a few decades my profession demanded my attention and photography became a hobby. In 2000 I bought a Nikon digital camera and have been studying photography for the last 10 years.
Currently, I am working with "Gateway to the East Valley" magazine as a contributing photographer and photo editor. Other clients include the City of Chandler, WestCor Malls, Core Construction CBRE and the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
